The Click Furniture Technology with SCM

"The Click Furniture Technology with SCM" Event has created new excitement in The Malaysia Wood Processing and Furniture Production Machinery Exhibition (FPM 2022), held from 6th to 9th October 2022 at the Setia City Convention Centre, Malaysia organized by SCM Group Asia in cooperation with Valinge and Leuco Tools. 

FPM 2022 was launched by Yang Berhormat Dato’ Sri Dr Wee Jeck Seng, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities Malaysia. Dato’ Sri Dr Wee highlighted that the seminar is “The Future in Furniture Production with Click Furniture Technology” during the exhibition. He remarked that “The Click Furniture technology” allows furniture production to be carried out without screws, dowels and fittings, enabling users to assemble or disassemble the click furniture easily and time saving. The new innovation will inspire and support the Malaysian furniture manufacturer to open up new design opportunities and become competitive in both local and global markets. 

During the Exhibition time, at SCM Asia booth there have been featured live demos of an SCM morbidelli M100 5-axis CNC machine to show the public how easy and fast it is to produce a cabinet with Threespine click technology in comparison with the traditional hardware-in one.  The demos attracted many visitors representing manufacturers, dealers, retailers, and individuals. SCMGroup Asia also took the opportunity to showcase the successful case history of the company Matak, whose President Mr S.Takeuchi also attended the Fair: Matak owns the first fully automated SCM Celaschi line in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia, specifically configured for complete Threespine profiling in just a single run.
