Taiwan Order Furniture Corporation, a leading Taiwanese manufacturer of furniture and interior systems under the ORDER brand, has chosen SCM as its technology partner for the installation of a new stefani rocket H edge banding line, designed and built at SCM’s Thiene plant – a Group’s world center of excellence for edge banding technologies.
The plant, composed of two stefani one edge banders connected in line — one left-hand and one right-hand version — enables fully automatic operations, thanks to label reading on the panel and interface with the customer’s MES system via supervisor, with no need for manual intervention.
Designed for maximum flexibility, the stefani rocket H line allows both longitudinal and transversal panel processing, performing sizing and squaring operations with PUR glue application and AirFusion hot air technology, ensuring a perfect and long-lasting joint quality.
The system automatically manages three different edge thicknesses, with servo-assisted operating units for finishing, guaranteeing high precision and repeatability. The line can also finish the short sides of J-Shape panels, previously machined on another stefani edge bander already installed at the customer’s site.
This delivery represents the first of three lines commissioned by Taiwan Order Furniture, confirming the company’s trust in SCM’s technology, expertise, and service.
The Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), recently held at SCM’s Thiene facility in the presence of ORDER’s technical team, marked another key step in the partnership, reinforcing the long-term collaboration between the two companies.
