The AWISA John Tiddy Memorial Award

16 Apr 2018

Nominations are now open for the AWISA John Tiddy Memorial Award.

John Tiddy worked in the Australian furniture hardware industry for over 50 years, introducing many well-known brand names to the Australian market. One of his greatest contributions to the industry was being one of the people most responsible for the founding of the AWISA exhibition. The John Tiddy Memorial Award has been created in his memory to honour his many achievements and recognise the work of up and coming woodworkers.

The award is for six apprentices in the woodworking industry to receive an all-expense paid trip to the upcoming AWISA exhibition, plus $2000 towards training course fees.
