Last week’s Mecal CNC Training Days at our Eastern Creek Showroom brought together aluminium fabricators from across Australia for two intensive days of hands-on CNC training, live machine demonstrations and practical technical sessions.
Attendees got direct access to three flagship Mecal machining centres on the floor: the MC 305 Kosmos for high-speed, high-volume production; the MC 302 Argus for complex, precision-critical profiles; and the MC Aydo, a versatile 3+1 axis machining centre built for diverse fabrication shops. Mecal’s lead technicians, joined by the Forterro software team, guided participants through real production scenarios, software workflows and tool path optimisation on the Mecal CNC Software Suite.
The event went beyond watching machines run. Sessions focused on sharing practical knowledge about staying competitive and efficient in a changing market, from reducing cycle times to streamlining the path from drawing to finished part.
Our mission is to keep the Australian fabrication community moving forward with the best technology and the right skills. These Training Days are a key part of that commitment.
