CEO Lee Gabbett Elected to AWISA Board
23 Nov 2018SCM Group Australia CEO Lee Gabbett has been appointed to the AWISA Board of Directors.
AWISA (Australian Woodwork Australian Suppliers Association) was formed in 1986 by the principal suppliers to the Australian woodworking industry. The main aims of the association are to present industry exhibitions, publish industry magazines, co-operate with other organisations in the woodworking industry, and to uphold the highest ethical standards and to encourage members to do the same.
As an organisation with a strong commitment to providing all-inclusive solutions to our clients, the SCM Australia philosophy has always extended to supporting the woodworking industry as a whole through technology development, staff training and improvement, and fostering positive relationships between industry partners.
“My appointment to the AWISA Board of Directors is a fantastic way to solidify the long-term ongoing partnership between SCM Australia and AWISA that we have always been proud to foster,” said Lee. “We are looking forward to being able to use this as an avenue to provide further support to our customers and the wider woodworking industry.”
