Great enthusiasm and interest for SCM’s innovations during the opening days of Ligna 2025.
The Hannover trade fair, a flagship event for the entire woodworking industry, has already seen strong visitor numbers at the Group’s stands.
The event officially opened on Monday, May 26, with a ceremony celebrating the 50th anniversary of the exhibition, which SCM has supported since its very first edition. Among the keynote speakers was Scm Group President Enrico Aureli, who emphasized the deep connection between the Group and Ligna—a partnership that continues to grow, as demonstrated by the cutting-edge technologies, software, and services SCM has brought to this year’s show.
One of the highlights of the opening day was the press meeting held at the SCM and Tecno Logica stands in Hall 13. Nearly 50 journalists from the DACH region and other international markets were in attendance to discover the main technological and digital innovations, presented by Pietro Gheller, Director of the Wood Division, Alessandra Benedetti, Head of Service & Spare Parts and Director of Digital Transformation & Business Remodeling, and Gabriele Patti, SCM Commercial Director.
The subsequent press tour through the stands offered a close-up look at how SCM continues to invest in R&D and after-sales, positioning itself as a strategic business partner throughout every stage of the production process.
Visitor attendance remained high on the second day as well. The journey through SCM innovation continues into Hall 16, where the SCM-Superfici stand showcases the latest developments in sanding and finishing technologies, designed to deliver exclusive and on-trend surface solutions.
Ligna once again confirms its role as a key platform to strengthen relationships with our customers and partners, and to enthusiastically embrace the current and future challenges.
A special thank you goes out to our first visitors of the show and to the entire SCM team, whose dedication and professionalism are helping make this event a true success.
