What is WTD?

Devised by the Canadian Woodworking Machinery Distributors Association (CWMDA) in 2020, Woodworking Technology Days (WTD) is a 4-day open house event that highlights the jam-packed showrooms of several key players in the Canadian woodworking manufacturing industry.

The goal is to provide guests with an in-depth, one-on-one experience where they can talk with experts and learn about the latest in the woodworking world.

SCM plans to take photographs and record audio, and video during our in-person events, and reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any SCM event without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. SCM Canada may use the photograph/video in SCM educational, news, or promotional materials, whether in print, electronic, or other forms of media, including on our website and social media platforms.

To ensure the privacy of individuals, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject.

An individual attending an SCM event (or one we are participating in) who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known to the the event organizers, and/or contact Abigail Wacthel at abigail.bennett@scmgroup.com and include an identifying photograph for reference. SCM will use the photo for identification purposes (only) and will hold the request in confidence.

By participating in an SCM event or by failing to notify SCM, in writing, your desire to not have your photograph used by SCM, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify SCM from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.
