Following the establishment of SCM India as a separate legal entity, the company is implementing key updates, including a new local warehouse in Bangalore and the hiring of new personnel dedicated to industrial companies and engineering projects.

Prompt Delivery and Local Stocking
A significant development for the Indian market is the opening of a new local warehouse in Bangalore. "We will be stocking machines locally to ensure prompt delivery to our customers," Roy explains. "Starting mid-September, a wide range of SCM solutions will be available for direct sales from SCM India."
This new facility, strategically located in Bangalore, will stock over 50 machines for various production requirements, like joinery machines, edge banders, CNC machining centres and drilling solutions, with a primary focus on entry-level and mid-range machines.
High-End Solutions and Automation Systems
SCM India is also strengthening its support for industrial companies. The Subsidiary is planning to build up a local engineering infrastructure for automation and turnkey projects. It will work closely with the SCM Engineering Department based in Italy a team of over 25 engineers who support customers from initial plant layout and site analysis to cost optimization and project completion.
Bespoke Services for Process Optimization
Driven by a customer-centric vision, SCM offers targeted service solutions designed to help companies optimize operations and reach new levels of production efficiency. Each service is crafted to meet specific company needs, providing adaptable support that evolves with their priorities.
The service portfolio has been expanded to include proactive systems based on machine-learning algorithms and tools that ensure efficient intervention.
