OIKOS XS 650 and OIKOS X+ | Innovative CNC solutions for linear timber elements
Among SCM’s most advanced solutions for linear elements is the new Oikos XS 650 – a 5‑axis CNC machining centre for beams with cross-sections of up to 650 x 310 mm and minimum dimensions of 40 x 20 mm.
Oikos X+ is the CNC machining centre specifically designed for high‑performance processing of solid‑wood and glulam beams with a maximum cross‑section of 1,250 x 300 mm. It is ideal for the construction of roofs, residential buildings and public structures.
AREA GL | Modular CNC technology for straight and curved glulam beams
SCM’s CNC machining centres also allow the processing of straight and curved glulam elements used in large‑scale construction projects — such as roofs of public buildings (sports halls, swimming pools, etc.), multi‑storey buildings, and infrastructure projects.
This is where the AREA GL comes into play, an innovative 5‑axis CNC machining centre with a mobile‑gantry design.
CELASCHI XL and DMC SYSTEM XL | Advanced technologies for CLT panels
The Dach+Holz International also offers the opportunity to discover the new Celaschi XL double‑end profiling machine, designed to optimise the production flow in the processing of CLT panels.
By transferring certain machining operations from the CNC machining centre to the profiling machine, productivity and precision in rebate and sizing operations on CLT walls can be significantly increased.
Completing SCM’s range of solutions for CLT processing is the DMC System XL wide‑belt calibrating and fine‑sanding machine, equipped with new units for processing the upper and lower surfaces of CLT panels up to 3,700 mm in width and 500 mm in thickness.
