Visits by classes of professional training schools specialized in the woodworking sector are continuing at Xylexpo - with the SCM booth as one of the main poles of attraction. Earlier today, the manager of SCM Italia, Luca Bergantini, welcomed, among others, the students and teachers of Isis Fermo Solari of Tolmezzo, one of the most advanced wood construction educational centres in the country, to which SCM has supplied several highly innovative machining centres.
The visits raised a lot of interest about the latest technological trends, and not just from young students. Yesterday, the Group's 3,000-plus square metres exclusive exhibition area was one of the busiest of the whole event - with new orders flowing in, negotiations and networking going on, and a significant number of visits by business professionals, media operators and experts - covering the whole range of industry products, from cabinets to window frames.
The day ended with the "Connect Party" - a chance for hundreds of SCM partners from all over the world to raise glasses to a highly successful edition of Xylexpo.
