Xylexpo 2026 Opens: Technology, Data and Innovation Take Centre Stage at the SCM Stand
The 2026 edition of Xylexpo has officially opened its doors at Fieramilano alongside Matec, the new format bringing together under one roof the long-established exhibition dedicated to woodworking technologies and two leading events for advanced materials and the plastics and rubber industries: Composites Future and Plast.
Three events in one, running until June 12 and attracting companies and professionals from a wide range of manufacturing sectors, all eager to discuss the challenges and opportunities reshaping global industry in an increasingly complex geopolitical and economic landscape.
SCM is ready to welcome visitors in Hall 14 with a comprehensive offering that combines advanced machinery, software, digital systems and services. At the heart of the stand is a vision of an increasingly integrated and data-driven factory, where production data becomes a strategic asset for optimizing processes and enabling faster, more effective decision-making.
Among the highlights on display is the new accord 500 edge CNC machining centre, featuring an exclusive edgebanding system designed to enhance production flexibility and optimize processing operations for both the furniture and solid wood sectors.
A strong focus is also placed on digitalization with WinMES, the MES/MOM platform developed in partnership with Tecnest and natively integrated with SCM machines, as well as the digital services of IoT Solution, designed to unlock the value of production data and boost efficiency and productivity.
Visitors can also explore a dedicated area showcasing finished workpieces and experience first-hand the results achieved with SCM’s most innovative solutions for edgebanding, sanding, surface finishing, as well as technologies for windows and doors, flooring and timber construction.
