Scm Group strengthens its presence in the aluminium sector thanks to partnership with Gemma Group

The Gemma Group's business unit specialising in solutions for the processing of aluminium extrusions is joining Scm Group.
This transition, which will be effective from 1 May 2025, is part of a strategic plan for development in the aluminium business already launched by the Rimini-based Group in November 2024 with the acquisition of a majority stake in Mecal Machinery, a reference leader in the sector.
From that date, the Gemma Group's aluminium business will be managed directly by Scm Group and in synergy with its subsidiary Mecal Machinery.
This transition is designed to give customers even greater access to the skills and innovation that distinguish the Group. In addition, they will continue to benefit from the same dedication to quality and reliability that they have always enjoyed, but with additional advantages:
