Kick-off whistle for the 2nd Alberto Fiorani Memorial
Some employees have been training for weeks to reach the top of the league, while others simply don’t want to miss a single match as they support and cheer for their favorite team. One thing is certain: everyone is eager to have fun, spend time together, get to know colleagues from different locations better, and strengthen team spirit outside the workplace.
With this spirit, the 2nd Alberto Fiorani Memorial — the corporate sports event dedicated to SCM Group employees — officially kicked off. Twenty teams, with nearly 150 participants in total, will compete on the courts of the Villa-Ge Center in Villa Verucchio until the end of July, battling for places in the Gold and Silver categories.
The first beach volleyball and beach tennis matches, held on May 18, already showcased enthusiasm, energy, and a shared passion for outdoor sports. The level of competition proved immediately high and engaging, while always staying true to the real spirit of the initiative: having fun, sharing experiences, and enjoying moments together.
For many participants, the Memorial also represents a valuable opportunity to build new relationships, strengthen their sense of belonging, and spend time together in an informal and positive environment. Even those not competing on the courts contribute enthusiastically to the atmosphere, cheering on the teams from the stands and sharing moments of conviviality.
Beyond the final results, this year’s SCM Group Summer Cup continues to be an important experience in team building, social interaction, and wellness. It is part of a broader corporate program aimed at promoting an active and inclusive lifestyle focused on people’s physical and mental well-being.
