The latest SCM news at Dubai Woodshow (Sheikh Saed Hall 3, stand E1)

Mar 8, 2021

SCM & Italco Middle East will be showcasing SCM’s high technology at the next edition of Dubai Woodshow, from 9 to 11 March 2021.

Visitors will be able to discover the latest SCM news for the woodworking industry, with particular attention to new trends in furniture and design and to the most innovative SCM technologies for surface treatment.

For SCM Middle East the new edition of Dubai Woodshow is also the opportunity to announce again the partnership development with Italco Middle East as its distributor for the UAE and Oman market.
The aim – states Giovanni Masino, SCM Middle East Country Manager - is to provide the customer with an even wider range of state-of-the-art technological solutions, ready for delivery and capable of meeting the diverse production needs of the entire wood processing industry.

SCM is further strengthening its presence in the Middle East.
Despite the international health emergency as a result of Covid-19 – adds Giovanni Masino - the Italian Group's ability to accompany and support woodworking businesses in maximising their production processes and business projects has never ceased. Quite the opposite. The SCM Middle East team has continued with even greater determination and resources to stand alongside its customers, providing not only state-of-the-art products but an even more widespread sales consultancy service and technical support to small joinery as well as to large wood working industries”.

2020 brought with it important changes, as Giovanni Masino explains. One of these is most definitely the new agreement between SCM and Italco Middle East, a partnership that has been successfully on-going for decades but which has experienced an important turning point, bringing considerable advantages to the end customer.

Italco Middle East is one of the most trusted suppliers of woodworking machines in the United Arab Emirates and Oman. With more than a decade of experience in the field, Italco provides a wide range of SCM technologies, able to respond to the market needs and available from stock”.

"Nowadays, the market is giving positive signs of a recover. We are seeing an evolution of the already existing companies that are proving to once again be willing to invest in higher technologies to enhance their production processes and develop new business opportunities as well as establishment of new companies. The market is buzzing and the trend, for most of the companies in this sector, is to shift from an artisan production to increasingly more advanced industrial processes, with a growing focus on design and the quality of the finished product. SCM Middle East Team is here and wants to play an active role in this change”.
