The SCM K2 End Saw Unit – Corner Rounding Without the Price Tag
29 May 2017The SCM end saw unit consists of two high frequency motors to cut the front and rear edges. The high precision and heavy duty end cutting unit has the movement of the motors on prismatic guide ways with preloaded recirculating ball bearings. This achieves a perfect finish due to no mechanical play.
In addition to this, the SCM K2 end saw unit uses a unique system, where the unit is equipped with radius cutting of the thick edges, avoiding any manual finishing operation. The end cutting device is equipped with 2 blades for each motor which automatically position for either a straight or radius finish according to the finish selected from the controller.
The K2 end unit is available on all K360 edgebanders.
