A tour across the Emilia-Romagna region in search of the latest technological innovations for the woodworking industry, which is experiencing an impressive growth these days, not only in Vietnam but also in other Far East countries. And SCM played the role of the delegation's special guide. During the recently-concluded Xylexpo fair, a delegation of Vietnamese professionals was keen on visiting not only the Italian Group's innovative and elegant 3,000 sq m stand but also its Rimini and Villa Verucchio plants. The tour was organised by SCM in close collaboration with HAWA (Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minn City) and Vetta, the Group dealer in Vietnam. At the 26th Biennial world exhibition for woodworking technology and components for the furniture industry (Xylexpo, 8 to 12 May), which drew a massive number of 18,000 visitors, HAWA representatives also met the heads of ACIMALL (Italian Woodworking Machinery and Tools Manufacturers’ Association) to discuss auspicious collaboration opportunities.
