Innovation, high tech and solidarity: SCM rounds up an excellent edition of AWFS

Jul 23, 2019

Complete harmony between man and robot for a factory that is advanced and digital yet always user-friendly. At the Trade Fair in Las Vegas, SCM demonstrated how all this is possible thanks to the innovation of its technological solutions integrated into the Smart&Human factory and the power of software and digital services in the renewed Maestro Digital Systems range. One of the new entries most admired by those attending AWFS was the Maestro active, the new HMI on the machinery presented with a unique look&feel for all the SCM technologies and a much easier, more intuitive user experience . Also taking centre stage was the IoT Meastro Connect platform which allows for continued analysis of the data being produced by the machines as well as instant access to a wide range of services including remote technical support with Smartech augmented reality glasses, the purchase of spare parts on-line, predictive maintenance and numerous other services to considerably increase the productivity of its own production plant.

This latest edition of AWFS was also an opportunity for SCM to show its solidarity. As confirmation of its significant support to Semper Fi Fund, the non-profit organisation which supports war veterans or survivors with critical irreversible injuries and health issues, SCM North America presented the organisation with a cheque for $15,000. It was presented by the Regional Manager for SCM North America, Giuseppe Riva and SCM's Sales Manager, Pietro Gheller.
