Holz-Handwerk and Fensterbau Frontale 2026: where to discover the latest SCM innovations for woodworking and windows manufacturing

Visitors to the next edition of Holz-Handwerk and Fensterbau Frontale, scheduled to take place in Nuremberg from 24 to 27 March, will be able to discover some of the most interesting SCM innovations dedicated to woodworking and window manufacturing.

At the stand of SCM’s long-standing German partner Stürmer Maschinen GmbH (Hall 9, Stand 9-316 a/b), visitors will see some of the market’s most highly appreciated woodworking solutions in action.
Taking center stage will be SCM blade off, the innovative safety system for circular saws, developed by the Italian Group to significantly reduce the inherent risks associated with the use of these machines, while maintaining high levels of quality and productivity.
A clear example of how innovation can – and must – also involve traditional woodworking machines.

Also on show will be models from the evergreen L’invincibile range: the L’invincibile si 5 circular saw, the L’invincibile ti 7 spindle moulder, the L’invincibile f 7 surface planer, the L’invincibile s 7 thicknesser and the L’invincibile fs 7 surfacing-thicknessing planer. Solutions designed for the joinery seeking consistent performance over time, high machining accuracy and sturdy construction to ensure reliability and quality.

In addition, the morbidelli x50 will be showcased at the SCM partner Maschinen-Grupp GmbH booth, Hall 9, Stand 9-205
The CNC machining center for nesting delivers high performance in a compact space and provides an efficient solution for flexible panel processing. The morbidelli x50 combines precise machining results with high productivity, helping businesses implement nesting processes economically and reliably.

The spotlight will also be on the world of window and doors manufacturing at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE. At Mecal Machinery booth (Hall 3, Stand 3-245) visitors will be able explore, together with the SCM and Superfici teams, the most suitable solutions for wooden windows production. These include the fully automatic windorflex machining cell, designed to perform all the operations required for window manufacturing in a single solution, optimizing production rates while maintaining high flexibility and machining quality.

Among the latest innovations for windows and doors, there will also be a focus on the new topset xxl throughfeed moulder. Increased working sections, spindle speeds of up to 12,000 rpm, customizable compositions and worktables with micrometric settings for optimal toolling set-up, are just some of the innovative features of this machine.

To complete the window manufacturing process, great attention will be given to finishing with Superfici solutions. Among the flagship products for the sector is the maestro robot, the ultimate in robotic finishing technology, designed by replicating the movements of a craftsman’s arm to automate operations, increase productivity and consistently guarantee the highest quality. The Superfici robot is now also equipped with new software featuring even more highly innovative functions, including the EDITOR option, which allows spray trajectories to be generated or corrected based on the operator’s know-how.

With reference to aluminium manufacturing, Mecal Machinery will present advanced solutions designed to make windows manufacturing simpler, faster and more efficient. These include the MC 316 Swing, which introduces new numerically controlled clamping systems that improve precision and stability during machining.
The MC 304 Ariel 5A MTS stands out for its unique versatility, capable of increasing productivity and safety levels while reducing consumption and errors.
The MC 312 Taurus 5A MTS also offers great flexibility, able to machine profiles of very different sizes for applications ranging from furniture to building construction.
The exhibition will be completed by the FE 400 Inox Vico 7A, designed to ensure high performance, longer tool life and production continuity.

From safety in woodworking shops to automated window production and finishing, the SCM Group’s solutions showcased at the exhibition reaffirm a solid and ongoing commitment to developing technologies capable of responding to real market needs, supporting customers at every stage of the production process.
