PARTS PRODUCED
Models and direct moulds of hulls, decks, deckhouses, arches, antenna supports, instrument panels, doors, exterior and interior furnishing fittings and reduced scale studio models.

MATERIALS
MDF, polystyrene, polyurethane, extruded or sheet resins.

MACHINES
Numerically controlled 5 interpolating axis CMS work centre with structure in stabilised steel with mobile double rack beam for working dimensions of up to 60x10x5.3 metres.

PROCESSES
Numerically controlled milling of models and direct moulds. The 5-axis head unit continually and accurately reproduces the CAD designed components. After initial shaping of the substrate it applies, thanks to an extrusion head, a layer of paste that, once hardened, is milled by the machine itself. At this point, without moving the component from the centre, the model is ready for fast final bodyworking.

SOFTWARE
The Cam translates design data into path instructions for the machine. The programmes make it easier and faster to create new designs, geometries and waterlines.
